4-20-22 Looking for contractor in Vacaville who returns phone calls

I have a list of of various vendors. If you feel like you’re being ignored by your vendors, you’re not the only one! They are in high demand and of course, you’ll be paying top dollar if they show up!

Let me know if you need a vendor (contractor, etc) I have a list of them but you may have to get in line. And I verify that they are still in biz when I call them..so you don’t have to be bothered with that.

If asked, I will let you know who I trust and who I don’t. That may save you loads of time and frustration.

I did call ACI (Alameda County Industries:) to make an appointment, earlier this week. These are the folks who pick our weekly garbage. I wanted to make an appointment to drop off some Hazardous Waste. It’s all done online.

Today I took a (full) propane tank to ACI and was the first in line. And no others vehicles showed up while I was there. In fact, while the gates were opened, the workers were still getting ready for biz. If you haven’t been there in the last couple of years, you need to show your drivers license to prove who you are.

Back in the day, I used to have a barbeque that used propane, and also two exterior (tall) outdoor lamps that were run on propane. All three of those items are now history, but they did serve their purpose well.

But times have changed…and when I was meeting some friends at my house today, they were impressed with our living room fireplace and the dining room fireplace. Both of those still exist, however, the only thing I put in/near them are flowers, not flames.

Yep…the times they are a changing. (That’s an old song, if you don’t remember it.)
