THE SECOND STORY | November 11th, 2021

Some of us have never needed to fight in a war. Some of us did. Many of us remember the Vietnam war: protests, marching, the police.

We all need to take a moment (or more), to think of what our Veterans did for us. And tell a Veteran how grateful we are. Amen.

You can see that the inventory is getting smaller as we get closer to the holidays. But…those on the market now, seem to really want to sell. But how low will they go? Probably, not much. Prices are still high, rates are low. That’s the market! I don’t control it, I work within it!

Be well, be safe, wear a mask out of consideration of the others that surround us.

Questions about the Alameda market? You can ask me but I may not have the answer!

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
