THE SECOND STORY | October 8th, 2020

Shorter days, longer nights.

I took this photo sometime this past week from my car @ Crown Beach. It was too smokey to get on my bike so I was running errands by the CADEAU (the license plate of my car). It’s French for ‘gift.’

Funny stuff:

A local agent (that I know) had a seller who owned a townhome full of stuff (sh_t). She had him start to clean it out. He said, “Good news! I found my wife’s ashes!”

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
