THE SECOND STORY | January 3rd, 2019

Old year, new year, new day…and the real estate market is shifting.

This was taken at Crown Beach when the blogs went into hibernation.

Crisp but cool outside!

Alameda Real Estate this Week

One of the 2 new listings, is my listing @ 2515 Central #103. Come by and see me at the open house this Sunday 2-4 or at the broker tour on Tues the 8th, or at the second open house on Sunday 2-4 on the 13th! See the listing on the sidebar…which includes the photos and virtual tour, and the drone view!

Total NEW listings this week 2

Total active listings 37

Total pending listings 49

If you have ??’s about specific sold listings while the blog was in hibernation, let me know!

And I closed 162 Oak Park for my buyers in Dec. The price had dropped to 769K…and it was lower than the comps, and we had written on several properties.

(Oh, and I lied when I wrote that the blog would be back in 2 weeks….it was pretty late that night I should have said 6+ weeks!) And I must admit I loved the time off!

Happy to answer questions about the market….I like to set a meeting with potential Sellers and Buyers and we talk about what you want, want you need (different than what you want), and whether I can meet your expectations and whether you can meet mine! If we decide we aren’t a match, at least you should get an idea about what is going on out there! It’s all good!

...and a Happy New Year to you and your friends and families!

Best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
