THE SECOND STORY | August 17th, 2017

Today vs yesteryear….

Three stories tall. Dense like crabs in a pot. Modern amenities but with a look that tries to remind you of yesteryear (which is a joke)…but it’s not funny. And it’s very expensive.

A few years ago I bought this painting (and others) from my high school friend, Eve Thomspon, in Corona del Mar. I keep it on a chair in the dining room and it makes me smile whenever I see it!  Check out her artwork and her blog! She’s amazing as a person and as an artist!

Alameda Real Estate Awards this Week (imho)

Winner of the Week my listing…quality through out!

Get me a makeover

View of the Week (new award!)

That’s a wrap! Come see me at my open house at 3006 Marina on Sunday 2-4! It’s just plain nice…and the Pest Report for Section 1 items (where there is actual damage) is $0…zero dollars. This is the 3rd listing this year that I’ve had with Section 1…nada, zero, nothing.

Make the best of whatever you are dealing with. It will buoy your spirits, just knowing that!

best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
