Waiting to show property…

2016-03-26 16.52.04
My bike gets me where I want to go in Alameda…especially when showing property!  Door to door, I say. No hassle with parking!

A couple of weeks ago, I rode my version of my steed (bike) to get to Marina Village to see a unit that I recently sold (it was pending) to some lovely buyers. I took care of my biz and had some time on my hands before I had another appointment, to show a 4 unit building.

It was so nice outside, I rode along the estuary from Marina Village on the bike/walk paths down toward the Del Monte building, which is going to be transformed into condos. The photo was taken looking towards the east, Del Monte would be to the right, and the estuary is on the left.

I don’t think too many folks snoop around some of these fenced-off sites and many would be surprised by what they see. That’s a plus for bike riding around all of Alameda!

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
