Any open house may have looked like this during the last two weekends. There were neighbors, lookers, dreamers, and frustrated buyers. Not enough inventory these days. This will change…sooner or later.
Everybody gets what it’s like being in the zone. You know…when you are focused on whatever you want to do…nothing gets in your way, nothing can disturb you.
But what happens when the zone becomes the twilight zone? A friend mentioned this to me the other day, while we were having lunch at The Little House Cafe (check it out if you haven’t – it’s yummy)!
When real estateclientshit the twilight zone: too much to get done, clear out, keep clean; nobody is living in the property; missed a deadline when the property is supposed to be on the market (or when the property is supposed to close) and ad infinitum.
That is when a real great real estate agent/broker comes to the rescue. Those of us who have been in the real estate biz for more than a few years know that no two transactions are ever the same. Not ever! Because sometimes we see clients at their best… or worst.
And this is where the rubber hits the road. I’ll be specific…some of us brokers/agents have magic up our sleeves. Others have their heads up their asses.
I hope that you consider what you want a broker to do for you, in the good times and the bad times. What many of us offer is a calming influence, as well as solutions to the unexpected.
This is a people business. And I’m proud to be part of it. Give me a call…we can compare notes and see if we are able to conduct a mutually acceptable basis upon which to do business. If not, that’s fine. If we are able to do so, we will move forward.
That’s a wrap for now! Email if you have questions…
Stay dry out there!
best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull.
Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
