Happy 2016! My weekly Alameda update is through with hibernation…and now I’m ready to write again! Not much happens during the holiday season. Let’s hope the real estate market awakens in 2016 with more properties for sale.
I did close the 6 unit (3 buildings) property at 2142-44 Clinton on the last day of the year. It was priced for $1,375,000 and sold for $1,703,000. If you have questions about this transaction, let me know.

Alameda Real estate awards this week..only 1 and it is in need of rehab…
Get me to rehab the person who owned the house passed on in the midst of doing a complete overhaul. The good thing is the kitchen and baths have already been torn out. If you need financing, you will need a specialized lender who can loan on rehab projects, fixers, flips, etc. This will be a nice house for the right person/people!
