Alameda has cobblestones…

IMG_3962
This street in Alameda has cobblestones under decades of pavement!

This photo could bring back memories to the Victorians (many of which are being renovated) around town. I was riding by my bike by a friend’s house, and she literally popped out of her garden. We were catching up and then I looked down at the curb, and was so surprised to see the ‘under-layment’!

Alameda Real Estate this Week…

Broker Tour Tues 12 this week…saw all but two. The one on Saint Charles was a repeat..kinda. It was pulled off the market a bit ago..now it’s back on and they decided to let the agents/brokers through.

A bit interesting…there are several houses on Otis for sale/pending. There were two condos/townhomes at Ballena Bay on the tour this week. There were two houses in Costa Brava this week, on the tour.  Just sayin….

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
