Busy Broker…busy week in Alameda!  what I think about when I’m not thinking about real estate!

Alameda Real Estate this week

Been a bit busy this week….

Put a listing (1330 Broadway) on the market. Swamped open house last Sunday…come on by this Sunday to check out this Remarkable Lady (not me) who would love some loving restoration. Sold the Seller’s daughter’s home over 20+years ago. Now that daughter is selling the family home.

Got an accepted offer (4 offers) on 3222 Fir . Seller is thrilled. Sold this to him over 20 years ago.

Closed a listing (1015 Peach) for 950K for Sellers who went out and made an all cash offer on a condo! These folks bought it when I last had it listed 12 years ago.

Signed papers for (1321 Webster D311) which should close on Friday, June 5. Another (hopefully) satisfied customer! Sold this to him over 23 years ago.

Don’t be surprised if I stay in touch with any of you who choose to contact me, just like I did with those above! Not only do I have the best clients ever, they have become dear friends along the way. And that’s the way real biz is done, in the real estate biz.
So…that being said, I did not see any of the tour this week, except my listing when I held a broker tour there.

Active listings this week   47

Pending listings this week  80

Alameda Real Estate Awards...remember this is only my perspective!

Get me to rehab… thank goodness the city has historical building preservation guidelines. And to think in the 1960’s so many Victorians were just pummeled into the ground.

I’ll be at 1330 Broadway Sunday 2-4 if you care to the house (and me)!

best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
