THE SECOND STORY | November 27th, 2014

Hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!

I was riding my bike on Clinton Ave. on Wednesday late afternoon, and saw this glorious tree in full fall color!  I pulled out my phone and took the shot.

This will be brief!  After all, this is Thanksgiving eve! – my world, the way I see it.

My listing at 2866 Central should have closed yesterday, but the lender couldn’t perform miracles (even though they said they could). It will close on Tues this next week and I’ll publish it in the blog.

Alameda Real Estate Awards this week…this is only my perspective!
Get me to rehab....lovely location, cool lot, and needs a ton of work!

As is my tradition,  The Second Story ( and Boomer-Chick-Musings go into hibernation during the month of December!  Once January 1 rolls around,  I’ll review the whole month of December real estate in Alameda..

This really is a wrap for this year!  YAY!  I still stay in contact with my clients and/or prospects via phone or email..  Questions? Write to me. Comments?  Most gratefully received.

Be well. Have a nice holiday season.  Start the New Year with vim, vigor, good intentions, and goals that exceed your expectations!

Best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
