This came from my rose garden in 2010 and they are just as beautiful and aromatic this year. I just haven’t had the time to take their pictures!
Boomer-Chick-Musings.com – How much do you love the ‘behind the phones’ customer service providers? Uh, not too much.
Commentary – There is a small, but nice jump in inventory this week. There were 15 new properties on the market this week. Perhaps it is starting to level out.
I love this ‘infographic’ (picture that tells a story). Have you ever had a crush on a house? Even if people have a crush on the same house…they often see it in completely different ways. For me, when I love a house, I can not even remember it. Not one thing. But it really affects me and I carry it around as a feeling, not an object. That’s my story…and I’m sticking to it!
Alameda Real Estate this week.. Broker Tour Tues….15 All but one were on the main island, and the one that wasn’t I had seen before. I saw all but 2 on my bike ride!
Active listings this week 69 (all types) Pending listings this week 70 (all types)
I’ve included all All Types: commercial, lots & land, residential income, residential 5+units, commercial lots & land, commercial industrial. What we don’t see often is how comm’l agents run their own MLS systems and subscribe to that so they aren’t bothered with houses, and/or small residential units. New 18 BOM (back on market) 1 PCH (price change) 1 Pending 13 Sold 13 Withdrawn/cancelled 1 Expired 1
Alameda Real Estate Awards this week… Winners! (3 tied) All of these were great (in my eyes..but I didn’t have a crush on any of them..because I remembered what they looked like)! Get me to rehab (units often have been cast away by owners over the years…this isn’t the worst by any means….but it needs serious renovations.
All righty! That’s a wrap. Welcome to the new folks who I’ve put on my own distribution list! Hope you find the blog a good source for info!
I’ll be at 1001 Shoreline unit 104 this Sunday….come by and see me 2-4pm! I’ll have it in the mls tomorrow! This is a 2/2 condo facing the SF Bay and it has a deeded 1 car garage plus an in unit laundry. There is not one other set of condos that offer this view plus the dedicated garage or an in unit laundry. Check it out!
best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull.
Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
