I’ve been gone this past week to Scottsdale, AZ. I booked this over a year ago…and who knew back then, what the new year would bring with it? I’m busy but with many of our tools being mobile, I can handle much of it and I have backups as well, if necessary, to stand in for me.
This was taken last evening at the Phoenix Botanical Garden. Dale Chihuly’s amazing glass artwork (he works with a masterful team) has taken over the desert from Nov 2013 through May 2014.
This landscape is not Alameda, but 100’s of folks were at the exhibit last evening, because the weather where they were from makes AZ the warm (in temperature) and cool (in status) place to be.
BOOMER CHICK MUSINGS – this week is all photos of Chihuly’s work which is staged in the desert.
COMMENTARY
Get ready and get your shredables in bags or boxes! The Shreding Party is coming on March 8,
nine to noon, rain or shine at my house!
Many of you have received postcard announcements
this week…and those are shred-able too!
Get your stuff shredded for free! It’s my gift to friends and clients! You don’t even need to get out of the car, although I’d like it if you would stop and say hi!
No material needs to be shredded? Then just come on by, sit for a while, have some doughnuts (fresh baked that morning) and juice! Um, no, I don’t do doughnuts..but the best place in town does..Lee’s just off Webster on Central. And yes, those are free to you too!
That’s a wrap! Put your shredables in a box and bring them by a week from this Saturday!
best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull.
Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
