THE SECOND STORY | November 27th, 2013

Thanksgiving….and it’s into hibernation for the month of December!

I’m thankful…for the readers of the blog, for asking questions (often I need to find the answers), and in many cases being friends as well as clients!

Thank you for your referrals this year, for your kind smiles along the way, for your honking horns when I’m riding my bike, for your friendships!

Thank you so much for the referrals to your friends, your family members, your neighbors, and sharing my name with folks you do business with, share classes with, and have coffee time with!  This is the basis of my business and I strive to earn your trust by doing my best to help them and you!

I am blessed and I don’t want to forget it!

This shot is from Ballena Bay back in Nov of 2009.

And this week I put a new listing on the market at 463 Cola Ballena, .  If you haven’t taken your bike or car out there, check it out.  This is a hidden gem for boat owners and their boats!  This is a very large townhome (2600sf) with a huge 60′ dock right in front of it  that goes straight out to San Francisco Bay!  Check out the website.

It’s priced for 949K.  It is quite unusual in its orientation: no houses or neighbors in front of the view, with only the water & the docks & the yachts & the birds to watch.  And my clients are motivated!

This is the last post for 2013 because The Second Story i.e. goes into hibernation for the month of December, as it has for many years!  I’ll start writing again on Jan 2, 2014!  Have great holidays, whatever you celebrate, and with those you love and who love you!

best, marilyn

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
