Sea of feet tapping the street, last week(end) @ Alameda’s Art and Wine Fair!
This was my view.. feet tapping the street. I was sitting on the curb near the Park St. Fire Station as folks gathered to hear the Beatles cover band, the Sun Kings, on Sunday late afternoon.
“The Sun Kings can do EVERY Beatles song and any of the Beatles’ solo album tunes too. They are an encyclopedia of all things Beatle; perfect at it.” SF Gate 7-31-13
COMMENTARY Here is the word from the Alameda Building Official regarding the confusion, the mess-ups, and the intolerable situations regarding Alameda’s NEWer Sewer Lateral Ordinance, adopted in June of 2012. “Until Nov 1, 2013 the former sewer lateral ordinance will be in place for Alameda.” This just came out of a meeting I attended on Thursday with two other committee members of the Alameda Association of Realtors Local Goverment Relations Committee. Let’s see what happens next.
If you have questions, talk to your Realtor. If you still have questions, email me and I might be able to answer them. If you still are in the dark, go to the city website and contact them directly for that department.
ALAMEDA REAL ESTATE AWARDS THIS WEEK…this is just my perspective! Get me a facelift
Much of what’s on the market when I write up the awards is often new and I haven’t seen the properties. I want to be sure that when I give an award, it’s accurate (my perspective). Of course, if the photos seem to show something that is irrefutable, I’ll go with that. Also, not all properties are on the broker tour. But anything that is new, pending, sold, price changes, BOM, expired, withdrawn/canceled or withdrawn temporarily….those are accurate!

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull.
Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
