Summer at midday! Cold at night! That’s Alameda!

Lots of sun, some heat at midday, then cold at night.  And no rain.  But Alameda is a great place to live…our seasons are enough to remind us they are here.  This is my apple tree totally nude and pruned.  In October it‘s bearing fruit like crazy!

CommentaryThis is an article that is written for agents but it involves HOW buyers think.  I thought Trulia did a great job.  Check it out! I also love HOW buyers need to consider their lives further down the road…how will they VISION the home, in order to fit their lives in 5 or 10 years?  Every buyer should be encouraged to do this!

The first public hearing of the Beltline Park …

Last Saturday morn drew quite a crowd (and some took bikes) to meet up at Alameda Point (former Alameda Naval Air Station). This was one of many boards where community members could place green dots (like) or orange dots (not so much). I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
