Spring flowers love more rain!

Blog photo:  What says spring?  Tulips on Dayton (at Grand Street), on a sunny late afternoon!

Boomer Chick Musings:  Words….

Around the town…
Last Saturday I went to the Community of Harbor Bay Landing and dropped three very full boxes of miscellaneous items that were taking up space (a lot) in my office and garage and watched them get shredded!  Sure it was raining, but it was so quiet…we were one of three cars and no waiting!  Also got rid of a bunch of e-waste too!

For a reward, Evan (son who came up to visit), and I went to hobnob eats and drinks on Park Street, near Encinal, across from the fire station.  Ev said if he lived here, he’d go through the whole menu item by item….and he only tried one brunch selection!  It was my first time for brunch…and YUM!

My Sellers of 1219 Regent tossed the buyers (with the contingency of selling their house in the Oakland Hills), out of the contract after giving them plenty of time to off-load their place.  SO I had a Brokers Open House on Tues and I was shock at how many BUYERS came through!  It will be open this Sunday between 2-4pm.  Come see the house…or come say hi!

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
