Shred away! (under quick glimpes)

Blog photo:  This is last Sunday afternoon.  It was smokin’ windy.  And these folks were tough!  As I was riding my bike upwind on level ground my speedometer showed 2.2 mph.  When I finished taking pictures I was riding 8.2 mph, downwind, not pedaling, and on the flats!

ALAMEDA REAL ESTATE THIS WEEK…

My clients closed on 1219 Grand Street a week ago, Friday the 16th!  It was a craftsman home with loads of upgrades – roof, foundation, electrical.  And they got it using FHA financing and they got the loan in 25 days!  They beat out multiple offers on the place.  They paid what the seller listed it for.  YAY Nina Jones @ Wells Fargo, and Debbie Calvo @ Placer Title Co.!

Quick Glimpses
-It really is cheaper to buy (when the gods say to check it out)  than rent.
-Thought you might like to see what % of income rental units are in different locations across the country.

Why would you want to know?  There may be ways to work around the expense of buying, but you have to make yourselves competitive with the slim inventory we’ve got.  Plan, plan, plan.  Call me.

Another free shredding party and electronic waste disposal!  This Sat at the shopping center at Harbor Bay!  Around the corner, near the library.  9-12!  You can shred 3 boxes free and take your e-waste too!

Tuesday’s broker tour  up and down 94502 and 94501….great day for a bike ride!

I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull. Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
