Socially inept or socially adept? It’s all in the media!
Blog photo: A sunset moment for me last week, on my last bike ride of the trip to Newport Beach. This was close to the Newport Pier, on my way back from the Huntington Beach Pier, heading to the Balboa Pier, to catch the ferry to Balboa Island and pick up my car.
Blog post: If you have a small business in Alameda, or are a sole proprietor, or a hobbyist and haven’t figured out how to make social media work for you….there’s a free presentation at Julie’s Coffee and Tea Garden on Tues the 19th from 7-8pm. I’ve had some tutoring from Karen Schiff recently and she really knows her stuff! (Full disclosure….she and her husband are clients of mine and bought an Alameda home last year. Many times we would all meet at properties via bike when they were shopping…super cool!) She gave a presentation to our office last week and got some rave reviews! There are only three slots left so check it out!
ALAMEDA REAL ESTATE THIS WEEK I put a new listing on the market on Tuesday.. It’s at Stonehenge, the Storybook Tudor community of 27 homes. Check out the property website at 1545 C Santa Clara . I’m giving it the cute, charming award this week. Almost any home in this cluster is guaranteed of that by just being there. It will be open between 2-4 on Sunday!
We’re seeing properties that didn’t sell last year come back on the market at reduced prices now. I have one that’s been on the market again since February. So if you have been following the blog for a while you’ll see some familiar faces. What folks are starting to figure out is waiting costs money….and money is more valuable today than tomorrow in every instance.
I arrived in Alameda in 1973, as a new bride...with husband Carl Schumacher, both of us from Newport Beach. He was embarking on his career as a Naval Architect (i.e. yacht designer) under Gary Mull.
Please see the 'ABOUT ME' page in this website! www.MarilynSchumacher.com to see how it has all turned out! I'm so blessed!
